According to the Project Management Unit for Low Carbon Agriculture Project (DA LCASP) in Binh Dinh Province, for the period 2013-2018, MARD has allocated to 10 project provinces (DAs), each of which produces 3,600 gas works. In 2016, Binh Dinh Province will continue to be selected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to participate in the LCASP; Currently, the Central Biogas Project Management Board has allocated 1,940 biogas plants (1,700 small-scale, 10 medium and 14 large-scale) to Binh Dinh Province; In the first 6 months of 2016, the whole province has added 1,184 biogas plants. The project supports 3 million VND for each small scale biogas works; 10 million VND for medium scale construction and 20 million for large scale construction works.

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Diep, Vice Director of LCASP Project Management in Binh Dinh Province, added: "From now until the end of the year, the project management board will continue to promote information and communication on comprehensive management of waste. breed; Selection of households participating in the project and organizing training on methods of operating biogas works and animal waste management. The DA will support about 916 households registered to build small scale biogas works, ensuring that 2016 will complete 2,100 works. In addition, the Project Management Board will direct the technician staff of the project to well consult the husbandry household to select biogas technology suitable to the terrain and scale of animal husbandry; Supervision and acceptance of biogas works to meet the standards of the project; To inspect and supervise the environmental and quality criteria of the biogas plants which have already been constructed and are operating. According to Mr. Diep, for the project to develop effectively, the project management will prioritize the construction and installation of biogas plants in the localities with strong livestock movements such as Phu Cat, An Nhon, Hoai Nhon, Tuy Phuoc ... and the communes strive to complete the construction of new countryside in 2016.
